LYNNELL ANNETTE KITZMAN
Our dear sister in Christ and devoted servant, Lynnell Annette Kitzman went to be with the Lord April 4, 2022. She was born Aug. 3, 1959 in Midland, Michigan to Kermit and Twyla Kitzman. They moved to Alpena in 1963, where she attended Immanuel Lutheran School, Alpena High, Alpena Community College (Graphic Design), then in 1979 she went on to Meredith Manor in West Virginia. She graduated with an English riding blacksmiths certificate. She lived in Colorado for 30+ years after working on horse farms in Michigan (Harbor Springs and Kalamazoo), New York and Colorado (including a thoroughbred birthing farm). She maintained long-term friendships with people across the United States. She was most recently a member of Peace with Christ Lutheran Church in Aurora, Colorado and served her parish through friendship missionary. Sharing the message with children and young adults with disabilities also learning ASL to sign for services.
Lynnell is survived by her “Mum” Twyla, Aunt Ann (Lowell) Tolly, Uncle Gilbert Bihn, many dear cousins and family members. Along with dear friends, Roy and Patty Gagnon of Saginaw, Michigan, Diane Lather Balfour of Denver, Colorado and countless others across the United States. She was preceded by infant brothers Dennis and Duane, brother Kerwin, and her dad Kermit, plus her beloved grandparents, godparents Aunt Joan Kitzman and Uncle Del Warner and many other cherished family members.
A memorial service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alpena, Michigan on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 11 a.m. with visitation from 10-11 a.m. prior to service.
