KAREN K. MORTON

Karen was born on Nov. 19, 1955, to the late Charles and Theresa (Diemond) Morton. She was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church – Alpena, VFW Post 2496 Auxiliary, Elk Auxiliary 505, and a volunteer for mental health.

Surviving are three siblings, Charles (Marylynn) Morton, Patty (Richard) Wenzel, Grace (Wesley Jr.) Schooley; many nieces, nephews, and good friend, Judy Trapp.

Karen was preceded in death by her step-father, Eugene ‘Chick’ Stoppa.

Visitation will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Church – Alpena on Thursday, April 14, 2022, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon with the Rev. John Shipman officiating. Arrangements are being made by the Bannan Funeral Home.

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or NEMROC.
