BARBARA ANN DONAJKOWSKI

Barbara Ann Wikaryasz was born in Royal Oak, Michigan to the late Leonard and Mable (Moulds) Wikaryasz. On February 13, 1960, she married James Donajkowski. He preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 2002. Barbara was first and foremost a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, always caring and preparing her family. Barbara was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church, its Altar Society, and Right to Life.

Surviving are her eight children, Christopher (Therese) Donajkowski, Nadine Donajkowski, Nathan Donajkowski, Dominic (Stephanie) Donajkowski, Ramona (Scott) Carr, Reuben Donajkowski, Aric Donajkowski, Sarah (Tim) Benson; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Marty Dubey and Beverly Johnson.

Barbara was preceded in death by her son, Gabriel; brother, Michael Wikaryasz; and infant sister, Mary.

Visitation will take place Friday at Bannan Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday at St. Catherine Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev. John William officiating.

Interment: St. Catherine Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alpena Senior Citizens Center, St. Catherine Catholic Church, or James A. Donajkowski Memorial Scholarship at ACC.
