LAURA JEAN FRARY

Laura Jean Smith was born Dec. 2, 1951, in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Robert and Marion (Mathews) Smith. She worked at Luds for 33 years and later at Turning Brook. On March 21, 1986, she married James Frary. Laura was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church. She loved working with flowers and enjoyed walking her dog “Ducky”.

Surviving are her husband, James; two stepsons, Jason (Martha) Frary, Brad Frary; five grandchildren, Emma, Andrew, Joshua, Isabella, Alex; mother, Marion Smith; two siblings, Chuck (Linda) Smith, and Judy (Jeff) Scott.

Laura was preceded in death by her father, Robert Smith.

Memorial visitation will take place Wednesday at Resurrection Lutheran Church from 9:30 a.m. until the memorial service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mike Potter officiating. Arrangements have been made by the Bannan Funeral Home.
