STEPHEN JAMES DOYLE

Stephen is survived by his wife of 41 years Ruth Doyle; son Sean Doyle; siblings Jere Doyle, Mike (Ruth) Doyle, Mark (Jo Ann) Doyle, Judy Laporte, and Joan (Scott) Huffine; brother-in-law Jim McNeil; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Patrick and Joyce (Bezotte) Doyle, sister Jane McNeil, brother Patrick Doyle, brother-in-law Jim Laporte and sister-in-law Mary Doyle.

Stephen was born on Nov. 1, 1953 in Alpena, Michigan. He enjoyed fly fishing, running races and writing. He was a member of the Grayling Masonic Lodge and the Grayling Eagles. He worked for many years as a volunteer firefighter for the Grayling Fire Department.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022 at 12 p.m. with visitation starting at 11 a.m. at Grayling Baptist Church, 705 Madsen St., Grayling, Michigan, 49738.
