VICTOR JOSEPH (JOE) GORNALL
Victor Joseph (Joe) Gornall, 93, of Presque Isle, passed away peacefully at the MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena, on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022.
Joe was born June 22, 1928, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Victor and Grace (Baker) Gornall.
Joe served with the 82 nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. He was a graphic artist, pilot, loved sports and enjoyed the outdoors.
Joe is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce; sons, Steven Gornall, Randall and Richard Piccinini; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sons, Christopher, Timothy and Victor, Jr.; and a sister, Martha Hendries.
A memorial service will be planned for this summer. Interment will be at the Presque Isle Township Cemetery.
