TRUDY LYNN PARKER

Trudy was born Sept. 18, 1942 in Bay City, Michigan daughter of the late John and Dorothy Smith. After graduating High School, Trudy served her country in the United States Army at Governors Island, New York.

On Oct. 24, 1962, Trudy married Tyrone Parker and together they raised their three children Terri, Tommy, and Timmy in Cedarhurst, New York.

Trudy’s faith in God and her desire to stay in God’s will formed her life into a strong beacon of light. Trudy had a charitable heart. Always willing to help and offer encouragement.

She was an awesome wife, mother, and grandmother and friends to many many women from old to young. She will be missed by all she touched.

Trudy was preceded in death by her parents, son Thomas Robert Parker in 2021, brother Bruce Smith 2021 and sister Sandra Smith 1945

Trudy is survived by her husband of 59 years, Tyrone Parker, the love of her life.

Daughter Terri Lynn Kerner and husband Stephen of New York. Son Timothy Robert Parker and wife Colette of Texas.

Brothers Dennis, Jerry and Kenny Smith. And her cherished grandchildren Jennifer, Scott, Daniel, and Cody.

Funeral service and viewing will be Jan. 17, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Galena Funeral Home in Galena, Maryland.

Lunch reception to follow at Faith Bible Church in Sudlersville, Maryland.
