RONALD ARTHUR KENNE JR.

Ron is survived by his wife, Nancy (Moore), his children Donald Kenne of Mt. Clements, Michigan and Jodi (Stephen) Scott of Marysville, Washington and a granddaughter, Melia Kenne of Mukilteo, Washington. Ron is also survived by his mother, Mary Ann Kenne, sisters Kathy (Jeff) Freel, Deb (Ed) Homant, and his brother Jeff (fiancee Amy Truth), all of Alpena. He was also loved by many nieces and nephews along with his wife Nancy’s extended family.

Ron graduated from Alpena High School in 1977 and served in the United States Navy from 1977-1981. Ron also attended Alpena Community College and received an associate’s degree in Science. He worked for Boeing until his early retirement due to health issues associated with Multiple Sclerosis.

Ron was an avid horseman and won many awards in the Northwest United States which he was very proud of. He also loved being outdoors, fishing, and rock hunting with family and friends. Rona also grew and pruned Bonsai trees as a form of artwork.

Ron was loved by many and will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private celebration of Ron’s life will be held in Alpena in the spring.
