NORMAN CARL KRAMER
Norman Carl Kramer, age 80, of Alpena, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Dec. 31, 2021, at MediLodge of Alpena. Norm was born in Alpena, Michigan on July 15, 1941, to Thomas and Rubey (Hall) Kramer. He attended Alpena High School graduating in 1959. Norm married Janet Werth on Sept. 24, 1962, at Sacred Heart church in Mt. Pleasant Michigan. Together they raised four children. Norm was a hardworking man driving tow truck and working at Abitibi. He retired from Abitibi after more than 40 years of service. Norm loved the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, riding his four-wheeler, hunting, woodworking, and going for drives with his wife. He was an active member of the Fishermen’s Club for many years. Norm was preceded in death by his father Thomas Kramer, mother Rubey (Hall) Kramer, brother Gerald Kramer, sister Doris Stafford, and stepson Mark Werth. He is survived by his wife Janet Kramer, stepdaughter Molly (Tim) Bruski, son Matthew (Sharon) Kramer, son Alan (Donna) Kramer, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Norm will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Family will receive friends on Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, from 4 p.m.- 8 p.m. at McWilliams Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. with Deacon Michael Roy as celebrant. Online condolences can be registered at mcwilliamsfh.com
