MARY FIDELIS BEDARD

Mary Fidelis Cousineau was born on Aug. 10, 1917, in Alpena to the late Wilfred and Irene (Dougherty) Cousineau. On Aug. 27, 1938, she married Theodore Bedard. He preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 1996. Mary Fidelis was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, its Altar Society, and Daughters of Isabella.

Surviving are her four children, Dale (Bonnie) Bedard, Gary (Marie) Bedard, David Bedard, Donna Bowen, 11 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Mary Fidelis was preceded in death by her son-in-law, William Bowen, daughter-in-law, Connie Bedard, brothers and sisters-in-law, Wilfred and Marion Cousineau, Donald and Thelma Cousineau, and Edward Cousineau.

Visitation will take place Sunday at Bannan Funeral Home from 2-6 p.m. followed by a parish prayer service and continue Monday at St. John the Baptist Church of All Saints Parish from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Tyler Bischoff officiating. The Mass of Christian Burial will be streamed at bannanfuneralhome.com.
