LINDA MARIE CORTHALS

Linda was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 25, 1959, daughter of Alfred and Frances (Lipka) Ceci. Her family moved to Alpena, Michigan in Dec. 1971, where she started junior high school. She married her high school sweetheart, Mark Corthals, on June 10, 1977. She graduated Cum Laude with her Associate Degree in Nursing in 1986 and was a registered nurse until she retired in 2019.

Her family was her pride and joy. She loved playing games, doing crafts, going to the beach, kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkeling with her family and grandsons. Linda enjoyed sitting on her back porch reading the paper, riding bikes, and going fishing with her husband and friends.

Linda is survived by her husband, Mark of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida (formally of Alpena, Michigan), daughters Stacy (Kyle) Torgerson of Greenwood, Indiana and Dana (Jason) Porter of Belmont, Michigan, her four grandsons were the light of her life, Liam, Callan, Lawrence, and Waylon, sister Kathy Ceci of Alpena, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Frances, sister Janice (Ceci) Nugent and brothers Jack, Lawrence, and Alfred (Fred), numerous aunts, uncles, and other family members.
