HOWARD GORDON LONGPRE

Howard was born in Montmorency County on Nov. 14, 1936, to the late Gordon and Clara (Klein) Longpre and married Roberta Fuller on Aug. 21, 1971. He retired from the Besser Company in 1998 after 40 plus years. Howard was a member of St. John Lutheran Church – Royston and enjoyed working outside either in his lawn, garden or washing his car.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Roberta, two children, Shari (Tom) Klein, Gary Longpre, son-in-law, Mickey Foy, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brother, Kenneth (Deloris) Longpre and brother-in-law, Stanley Wikaryasz.

Mr. Longpre was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Foy and a sister, Eleanor Wikaryasz.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church – Royston from 4-8 p.m. and where the funeral will take place on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jason Mandley officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Bannan Funeral Home – Hillman.

Interment: Hillman Rust Townships Cemetery

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church – Royston.
