ROGER ROBBINS

Roger Allen Robbins, 66, of Herron, Michigan died suddenly Sept. 3 while on a fishing trip in Alaska. Roger was born Dec. 5, 1954 to Fred and Lillian (Heussner) Robbins in Alpena, Michigan. Roger was a fun loving, free spirit as well as a self proclaimed “short, fat & good-looking man”. He was very much loved by his family and many friends and will be greatly missed. He passed away at Providence Medical Center, Anchorage, Alaska after an accident while on a fishing vacation he called “the trip of a lifetime”.

Surviving are his four sisters: Nancy (Roy) Rondeau, Barbara (Robert) Hogarth, Carmen Ramirez, Connie Werth, and sister-in-law Shelia Robbins, and two brothers: Jack (Patty) Robbins, Jim Robbins, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Lillian Robbins, brother Tom Robbins, brother in law Carlos Ramirez and sister in law Melissa Robbins.

Roger will be remembered for his unforgettable laugh, huge heart, fun loving personality and fantastic sense of humor.

Per his wishes there will be no service. A Celebration of Life/Bonfire will be held at his home on 2620 Morris Rd. Herron, Michigan on Saturday, Sept. 25 at 2 p.m. Anyone wishing to celebrate his life is welcome to attend.
