Jean Lucille Robertson, 90, of Troy, Michigan, passed away peacefully Sept. 11, 2021, at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital.

Jean was born May 23, 1931, in Alpena, Michigan, to the late Lawrence and Vernie (Smith) Habermehl. Jean married John E. Bowen in May 1952, in Alpena. They later divorced. She married Arnold G. Robertson on Dec. 9, 1989, in Alpena. She was retired from Besser Company, a volunteer at the Alpena Regional Medical Center for several years, and member of the First United Methodist Church. Jean loved dancing, playing cards with family and friends, and traveling with her husband Arnold.

Jean is survived by her son John Bowen of Ann Arbor, Michigan, daughter Lori Bowen of Royal Oak, Michigan, stepson Ryan Robertson (Ashley) of Alpena, two step-granddaughters, sisters-in-law Jean Martin of Houston, Texas, Ruth Habermehl of Alpena and several nieces and nephews.

Jean is preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Bowen, husband Arnold Robertson, and eight siblings: Avril (Habermehl) Spragg, Zelda (Habermehl) Eagle, Donald Habermehl, Thomas (Eldon) Habermehl, Merle Habermehl, Irma (Habermehl) Ludwig, Orrin Habermehl, and Dale Habermehl.

Jean is at McWilliams Funeral Home where visiting hours will be held on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021, from 4-8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday at First United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
