TIMOTHY ORBAN
Timothy Orban, age 65, of Alpena, passed away peacefully after battling cancer on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at Besser Senior Living Community.
On April 12, 1956, Timothy was born to Florian and Geraldine (Nowicki) Orban in Alpena, Michigan. He worked for the American Steamship Company for 35 years. Timothy enjoyed spending his time outdoors in nature. He liked to watch NASCAR, loved his cats, and a good joke.
He is survived by his mother Geraldine Orban, two sons: David Harvey, of Lowell, Michigan and Jason Orban, of Alpena, Michigan, two grandchildren: Gibson and Sawyer Harvey; four brothers: Patrick Orban and Arnold Orban, both of Alpena, Michigan, Gerald Orban, of Black River, Michigan, and Keith (Tina) Orban, of Lachine, Michigan; one sister: Marcia (John) Hundley, of Alpena along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Timothy was preceded in death by his father: Florian Orban and brother: Myron Orban.
Family and friends will gather for a graveside service on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Maple Ridge Township beginning at 2 p.m. with Fr. James Fitzpatrick officiating.
In memory of Timothy memorials may be donated to Hospice of Michigan (145 North State Street; Alpena, Michigan 49707).
