PATSY ANN DUNCAN

Patsy Ann “Patti” Duncan, 77, of Alpena, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021 at Besser Senior Living Community. Patti was a caring and loving mother, sister, and grandmother that will be dearly missed. She was born on May 26, 1943 to the late Henry and Madeline (St. Charles) Brilinski in Alpena. Patti found joy working in a variety of different places such as Federal’s Department Store in Livonia, Tubby’s Restaurant in Alpena, spent many years working at The Drug Store in Alpena but, what she was most known for was working in the banking industry. She began her career in banking at Peoples Bank and Trust. Patti worked there for many years and through several mergers until her retirement from Citizens Bank.

Patti enjoyed reading, playing Yahtzee, traveling, and being with her grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family whenever she had the chance.

She is survived by a daughter, Jodi (Joseph) Villacrez of Tomah, Wisconsin, grandchildren, Devin (Erika) Villacrez, Joseph (Allyson Snyder) Villacrez, and Jacqueline Villacrez, a brother, Jerry (Sandy) Brilinski, and a sister, Shirley Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law Fred Smith.

Visiting will take place on Friday, March 5, 2021 at St. Anne Catholic Church of All Saints Parish from 2:00 P.M. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph Muszkiewicz officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial contribution to Friends Together or Hospice Compassus.
