MARGARET BATES

Peggy was born Dec. 3, 1930 in Los Angeles, California to the late Stephen and Elvira (Kennedy) Key. She was a caring and compassionate person having spent many years as a senior companion. Peggy loved to crochet, as she crocheted many blankets for friends and family. She also enjoyed playing cards, particularly Euchre and Pinnacle. Peggy was an active member of Under His Wings Fellowship where she played piano for many years. Peggy’s love and kindness will be dearly missed.

Peggy is survived by four children: Robert (Linda) Partlow, Liz Fowler, Gary Bates Jr., Leonard Bates, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Bates, and her brother Gordon Key.
