SHIRLEY GERALDINE MILLER

Shirley Geraldine Scheen was born in Carrington, North Dakota on May 8, 1931 to the late Andrew and Olga (Bartz) Scheen. In 1956, she married the late Henry A. Miller. Shirley taught school for a number of years in the Alpena and Mesick areas. After retirement, she spent numerous winters in Florida. She also was an avid antique collector. Shirley was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hubbard Lake.

She is survived by special nieces, Carol VanPamel and Karen Eller; four stepchildren, Glen (Linda) Miller, Doug Miller, Rodney (Denise) Miller, and Vicki (Mike) Hudson.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by three siblings, Herman Scheen, Harold Scheen, and Edna Huiting.

Memorial visitation will take place Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020 at St. Paul Lutheran Church-Hubbard Lake from 1 p.m. until the memorial service at 3 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Llewellyn officiating. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.

Interment: St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Wolf Creek
