GEORGE JOSEPH CREAMER

Mr. George Joseph Creamer, 83 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully on Oct. 11, 2020 at Prestige Place in Clare, Michigan. He was born in Flint, Michigan on Sept. 22, 1937 to the late George and Exora (Villeneuve) Creamer. George resided in Hillman most of his life. He married his wife, Rosalie R. (Theiner) Creamer on May 9, 1981 and together the couple celebrated 39 years together before his passing. George was a member of numerous clubs and organizations including: Knights of Columbus, Antique Snowmobile Club of America, Vintage Car Club of Alpena, Sunrise Side A’s of Alpena, and the Hillman Historical Society. He was also a member and usher of St. Augustine Catholic Church. He volunteered at Brush Creek Mill and hosted seven exchange students with Rosalie over the years. George was a man that enjoyed staying busy and loved to talk. He had a barn full of antique snowmobiles that he collected and he also made and sold dollhouses. His favorite prized possession was his 1930 Tudor Model A that he had owned since high school. George enjoyed traveling and went all over the United States with Rosalie creating memories that they would both cherish. He will be deeply missed.

George is survived by his loving wife, Rosalie Creamer of Hillman, children, Julie (Terry) Oliver of Macomb Township, Daniel (Debbie) Creamer of Taylor, Wayne (Charmaine) Creamer of Alpena, Cathy (Craig) Lyons of Hillman, Diane (Brian) Bailey of Highland, Robert Sullivan of Alpena, James (Mary) Sullivan of Waterford, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Exora Creamer.

Funeral services for Mr. Creamer will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020 at St. Augustine Catholic Church; Hillman, Fr. Michael Conner officiating. Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery, Hillman. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home.
