DONALD H. JOHNSON

Don was born Nov. 24, 1927 in Dearborn to the late Harry and Vera (Reynolds) Johnson.

He married Betty Schultz on Dec. 27, 1950. She preceded him in death on May 22, 2011. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, sawing lumber, reading, shooting sporting clays and watching Fox News.

Don is survived by four children, Dave (Denise) Johnson, Gary Johnson, Cathy (John) Rinard, Pam (Karl) Ciarkowski, his special friend; Delores Ludlow, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Edmonds, his brother, Gerald Johnson, and a grandson, Timothy Martell.

A celebration of life will be held at McWilliams Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with military honors accorded by VFW Post #2496 and the U.S. Army starting at 4 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Michigan.
