ANN KATHERINE LAMON

Ann Katherine Lamon passed away Aug. 7, 2020 at the age of 89. Ann was born Nov. 3, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan. Joseph and Winifred Norton adopted her as a newborn. Ann had many different jobs as a young woman, such as a taxi driver and a telephone operator. She knew after her job at a Detroit hospital that her calling was to work in a hospital setting. She turned down a job at a large hotel in the Bahamas to accept the position as director of housekeeping at Alpena General Hospital and worked there until she retired.
