LLOYD JOHN WOYTASZEK

Lloyd John “Butch” Woytaszek, age 68, of Alpena, Michigan passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.

He was born on Aug. 12, 1951 in Alpena, Michigan to the late Lloyd and Irma (Krueger) Woytaszek. He married Linda (Hamill) on April 16, 1976 in Alpena. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and was a lifelong truck driver and mechanic. He enjoyed spending his life following his children’s and grandchildren’s sports careers, of which he was their biggest fan. When he wasn’t giving his time to his family, he was always in his garage fixing something or tearing it apart. He is survived by his wife Linda of 44 years, sister: Linda (Harold) Smith, four children, Brian (Dione) Oliver, Chris (Kathy) Oliver, Amanda (Bruz) Copping and Brenda (Mike) Woytaszek, 10 grandchildren: Kelli (Chad) Francisco, Siarah, Brady, Bree, Demi and Beau Oliver, Daemien Vaughn, Bruz Copping and Casey and Dylan Woytaszek, three great-grandchildren, Molli, Colton and Chase Francisco, niece: Kathy (Brian) Perkins, nephew, Jerry Anderson Jr., great-niece, Cheyenne Perkins and aunt, Marty Woytaszek.

Butch is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Irma Woytaszek, son Lloyd (Scudder) Woytaszek and his uncle, John Woytaszek.

Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial visitation that will take place Monday, Aug. 3 from 10 a.m. to noon at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The memorial service will take place directly afterwards with the Rev. Joshua Schultz officiating. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
