GAIL A. SMITH
Gail A. Smith, age 66, of Alpena, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Lincoln Haven in Lincoln, Michigan.
She was born on Aug. 4, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan.
Gail is survived by her three daughters, Penny Grabow, of Lachine, Michigan; Angie Grabow, of Ossineke, Michigan; Nichole Sowiecki, of Kansas; one son, Joshua Sowiecki, of Kansas; one sister, Vivian Marotta; two brothers Fredrick M. Compeau, Michael Compeau; along with 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother June (Fanslow) Compeau; one daughter, Kimberly Grabow, and one brother, Dennis Compeau.
Family and friends will gather at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home for memorial visitation on Thursday, July 16, 2020, from 1 p.m. until the Memorial Service begins at 3 p.m. with Pastor Richard George officiating at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home.
