HILMA ERNA BEITLER

Hilma Erna Schultz was born on Feb. 8, 1928 in Hubbard Lake, Michigan to the late Franz and Rosina (Messal) Schultz. On July 5, 1946, she married Walter Beitler. He preceded her in death on July 2, 1993. Hilma was an active member of Hope Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aide. She enjoyed gardening.

Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Tamyra Beitler; two sisters, Gertrude Thiem, Hertha Ferguson; three sisters-in-law, Norma Schultz, Lorain Schultz, Geraldine Sherwood; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Beitler was preceded in death by her two sons, Lawrence and Alan; eight brothers, William, Henry, Gustav, Edmund, Donald, Ewald, Marvin, Franz; four sisters, Lena Bartz, Mathilda Glaser, Elsie Haselhuhn, and Rosina Erkfitz.

A graveside service will take place Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Hubbard Lake Cemetery with Rev. Randy Conley officiating and a memorial service will take place later at Hope Lutheran Church.
