ALLEN CHARLES FLECK

Allen married Nancy MacMillan in 1964 and they moved to Detroit. Allen worked as a Tool and Die Maker for over 45 years before retiring in 2008. He continued working part-time, teaching and sharing his knowledge with the younger generation.

Allen loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, playing euchre, golfing, and competing in pool tournaments. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Nancy, his wife of 56 years, survives, as does daughter, Alisha McGhee (James) of Avoca and four grandchildren, James McGhee III, Grace McGhee, Kirsten Fleck and Hannah Fleck; sisters, Shirley LaBrecque and Beverly Spleet of Alpena, Linda Cusick of Lansing, Marva Ziesman and Sharon Bruce of Florida and brothers, James Fleck, Raymond Fleck and Joseph Fleck; many beloved nieces and nephews.

Preceding Allen in death is son, Damon Fleck, sister Ruby Babcock and brothers Dan Fleck and Thomas Fleck.

Inurnment will take place at Long Rapids Cemetery with son Damon. A celebration of life honoring Allen will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Huron Humane Society in Alpena.
