Esther is survived by her eight children, Glenn (Rita), of Alpena, Michael (Sue), of Rome, Georgia, John (Donna), of Alpena, Frederick (Darlene), of Alpena, Beverly Male, of Alpena, Lori Male, of Texas, Nancy Lambert, of Texas, Lee (Rebecca), of Florida, her daughter-in-law, Christine Male, her brother, William Neumann, of Alpena, 18 grandchildren, Tom Jr., Leslie, Billy, Glenn Jr., Grant, Michael Jr., Shannon (Phil), John Jr. (Anna), Brian, Frederick Jr. (Kelly), Alisa, Dustin, Lt. Colonel Jane M., Selena, Elizabeth (Jonathon), Lee Jr. (Tara), Samantha (Kellen), Katherine (Michael), and 24 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020 at Immanuel Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James Erickson officiating.
