JAMES ARTHUR SEYMOUR

He was born on March 30, 1949 in Escanaba, Michigan. He was a graduate of Lamphere High School in Madison Heights, Michigan and it was there that he met and married the love of his life, Sharon Green.

Jim enjoyed many different outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, working on classic cars and motorcycles. He was an athlete in high school and was known as a standout in track as well as football. He loved to spend time with family, especially his grandchildren. Jim was a member of the Eagles Club Aerie 4482 in Millersburg and the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 54 years, Sharon, two children, Nicole (David) Kozak of Fair Haven, Michigan and James (Jodi) Seymour of Rogers City, Michigan, six grandchildren, Justin Kozak, Corey Kozak, Devin Kozak, Alexander Seymour, Austin (Morgan) Kaczmarek, and Jayce Sauve, six great-grandchildren, a sister, Diann (Andrew) Workman, a brother, Gerald (Mary) Seymour, an uncle, Hubert Pemberton, and many cousins, some of which were like brothers and sisters.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Alexander and Ramona (Croschere) Seymour, brothers, John, Richard, and David Seymour, sisters, Helen Gross, Linda Sommer, Darlene Hawthorne and Shirley Roskamp.
