THOMAS JOHN YARCH

Thomas John Yarch, age 68 of Lowell, passed away in his home Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019. He was born on Aug. 20, 1951 in Alpena, Michigan as the eldest child. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Delores A. Yarch and Eugene A. Yarch; brothers, Michael Yarch and David Yarch; brother-in-law, David Newhouse; as well as his grandparents. He is survived by his son, Joseph A. Yarch of Lowell; siblings, Deb Newhouse of Alpena, Mark Yarch, of Grand Rapids, Jerry (Kim) Yarch, of Roger City, and sister-in-law, Julie Yarch, of Grand Rapids. Tom was employed at Family Fare in Kentwood, Michigan and was in the U.S. Army. He really enjoyed and loved spending time with his son Joseph, going on trips, and working on cars together. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 628 Diamond Ave. N.E., Grand Rapids, Michigan, 49503, Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to mass. Msgr. Edward Hankiewicz, presiding. Interment at Bailey cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to help pay for funeral expenses.
