He is survived by his loving wife, Barb, of Hillman, sons, Martin (Teresa No. 2), of Birch Run, Mitchell (Terri), of Vassar, Dennis (Teresa No. 1), of Vassar, and Don, of Grand Rapids, grandchildren, Danielle, Wayne, Tracy, Nick, Tony, Trista, Jodi, Stephanie, and Zev, numerous great-grandchildren, sister, Betty Wright, of Hillman, and brother, Charles, of Flint.

Funeral services for Mr. Powell will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pastor Jason Mandley officiating. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will take place at Hillman Rust Township Cemetery.
