JAMES F. SNIDER
Our beloved father, grandfather and friend passed away Sunday morning Nov. 24, 2019 at McLaren Bay Region, age 80. Jim was born the son of the late Orville and Hazel (Hogan) Snider June 25, 1939 in Alpena and had resided in the Auburn area the last six years. Jim proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1960, worked and retired from Manatee County, Bradenton, Florida from the Electrical Maintenance Department. In his spare time he loved to deer hunt and was an avid wood worker. He is survived by his two children; Todd (Jennifer) Snider, Anne (Andrew) Snider, two grandchildren; Alex and Emily and his grand-dog; Bingo. Also welcoming Jim to his heavenly home is a sister; Sue.
Honoring Jim’s final wishes, cremation has taken place. No visiting hours or services are going to take place. Burial of his cremains will be in Evergreen Cemetery (Alpena). In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to a charity of your choice in memory of Jim.
