EUGENE KROLL

Gene was born July 22, 1941 in Alpena to the late Edward and Helen (Woloszyk) Kroll and worked at Huron Portland Cement Plant. He was a member of All Saints Parish, enjoyed hunting and his trips with Jack.

Surviving are four siblings, David and Ann Kroll, Alice Kroll, Patricia and Jack Robbins, Theresa and Jim Srebinski; eight nieces and nephews, Lynn Kroll, Edward Kroll, Tina Robbins, Bonnie and Larry Wirgau, Mark and Rebecca Srebinski, Matthew Srebinski, Kathryn and Jason Pacynski, Keith and Erin Srebinski; nine great-nieces and -nephews; Parker, Trent, Eva, Gillian, Evan, Henry, Ian, Theodore, Elliott; aunt, Marvis Woloszyk and uncle, Rapheal “Bud” Marciniak.

Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. with military honors accorded him by VFW Alpena Post 2496 at 5 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Monday at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from 11 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at noon with Rev. Scott Lawler officiating.
