DONNA MAE JONES
Mrs. Donna Mae Jones, 77, of Hillman, Michigan, died peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her husband on Nov. 27, 2019. She was born in Alpena, Michigan on Feb. 23, 1942 to the late, Leonard and Helen (Leitch) Zaske. She married her husband, David Jones, on Dec. 22, 1999 and together the couple celebrated 19 years of marriage before her passing. Donna worked at Garland Golf Course in the past as a housekeeper, and most recently at the Hills of Lakeview Bed and Breakfast in Lewiston. She enjoyed a variety of hobbies including, hunting, fishing, crocheting, knitting, crafting, collecting dolls, and camping with David. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Jones of Hillman; sons, David Rosbeck and Jim Rosbeck; daughters, Ronda Soik and Ronette Cousineau; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Duane (Monica Jones; Renee Hunt; brothers, Raymond (Nancy) Zaske; Jerry (Jackie) Zaske; and Tom (Sandy) Zaske. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Helen Zaske; and sisters, Patricia Ann Fitzgerald and Betty Lou Shupert.
As were her wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service held for Mrs. Jones at the Briley Township Cemetery in the Spring. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home. Condolence messages may be sent via our website at www.greenfuneralhomes.com.
