ADAM DAVIS DIKEMAN

On March 6, 1975, Adam was born in Lansing, Michigan to Steven P. and Elizabeth E. (Rayner) Dikeman. He married Valerie Rose Gullekson on May16, 2008, in Ocala, Florida. He was a member of Beta Theta PI of Michigan State University. Adam was a Registered Nurse with the Mid-Michigan Medical Center of Alpena for three and a half years, and had a passion for his nursing and helping others. Adam cherished time with his children, and making memories with family and friends. His boisterous personality was his hallmark: you couldn’t escape his presence without smiling. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, building, and gardening, just to name a few. Adam was always willing to help with his friend’s projects of all sorts.

Adam is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Valerie and their three children: Alex, Gwenn, and Trevor Dikeman; his parents: Steven (Betty) Dikeman; Father-in-law: Eric (Julie) Gullekson, of Hudson, Florida; two brother-in-laws: Eric and Luke Gullekson, both of Missouri.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Anne Elizabeth Dikeman.

Family and friends may gather for visitation on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019, at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home in Alpena, Michigan, from 1 p.m. until the Funeral Service begins at 3 p.m. with Pastor Leslie Nye officiating at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home.
