KENNETH LEE WERTH

Kenneth Lee Werth, age 63, of Nashville, Tennessee, went home to be with his Lord after a ruptured aorta aneurysm on July 2, 2019. He was born on Oct. 28, 1955 to Lee and Janet Werth. Ken was the oldest of four children and is survived by one brother, Donald Werth of Arizona; Two sisters, Cindy O’Connor Tammy Zarins of Alpena, Michigan. During his school years, he excelled at his studies and went on to Superior State College to receive his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. This prepared him for his pursuit of owning his own business in air craft cleaning. In 1985, he started Pro Guard Aviation. His passion, ambition, and hard work ethics made his company a great success! He continued to run Pro Guard Aviation for 20 years until he sold the company in 2006 to move closer to his family in Nashville, Tennessee.

Ken was a loving and dedicated father to his two daughters, Chrissy Grier and Julie Garbey of Tennessee.

His life was fulfilled daily by the love of his three grandchildren, Gabriel, Callia, and Jakown.

We will always remember him as a Golden Glove Boxer, an asset to the family-owned business, Werth Cleaners, and his true loyalty to the Detroit Lions.

Ken was a selfless, kind-hearted and loving brother, son, father, and grandfather. His love and generosity for his family and friends was unwavering.

He is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by everyone who was blessed to know him.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Huron Shores Fellowship, 3558 M-32.
