JONATHAN MARK DESSENBERG

Jonathan was born in Alpena on April 12, 1970 to James and Anne (Lyon) Dessenberg. He graduated from Alpena High in 1988 and received his bachelor’s degree in 1993 from GMI Engineering and Management Institute. Jonathan was an Eagle Scout, continuing to volunteer for Boy Scouts of America and served on the Board of Directors of the Besser Museum of Northeast Michigan.

Surviving are his parents, Jim and Anne Dessenberg; brother, Jason and Jenee Dessenberg; niece Kitiara Chapello; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Thursday from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7 p.m. with Rev. Seok Nam Lim officiating.
