JENNIE BESSIE ANDERSON

Jennie Bessie Anderson, age 92, of Harrisville, Mich., formerly of Flint, Mich., passed away on April 10, 2019 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Alpena. She was born on March 5, 1927 in Mikado, Mich., to the late George and Bessie (Nevin) Loyer. Jennie took pride in her role as both a wife and a mother and was devoted to both. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking and tending to her flower gardens. Jennie also enjoyed doing volunteer work with the March of Dimes. She was a member of Calvary Christian Church in Swartz Creek, Mich., for 19 years and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Mikado, Mich., since 1986. Jennie is survived by her children, Sherry K. (David) Gould of Burton, Mich., Craig K. Anderson of Davison, Mich., Brad (Deb) K. Anderson of Harrisville, Mich., Darcy K. Anderson of Harrisville, Mich., and Renee K. Anderson of Flint, Mich.; sister, Edith Bobick of Harrisville, Mich.; brother, George L. (Merry Lou) Loyer of Harrisville, Mich.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many other stepgrandchildren, step-great-grand children and step-great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Kenneth Anderson in 1997 and sister, Virginia Manning. The family will welcome friends on Monday, April 15, 2019 from 3-8 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home in Oscoda, Mich. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 1 p.m. with a visitation time beginning at noon at Calvary Baptist Church in Mikado, Mich.
