LARRY JOE BRILEY

He was born July 26, 1947 in Alpena to Cleo and Emma (Dice) Briley.

Larry enjoyed a very successful life as a hair designer. He owned and operated Larry B Salon in Alpena for over 20 years. Prior to returning to Alpena, Larry worked as a hair designer on Broadway in New York City, designing hair for many Broadway actors and actresses including Sylvia Sims and Barbara Walters. After retirement, Larry dedicated his time to volunteer work, which included a local prison reading program, the Friendship Room, and most recently through NEMSCA.

Larry is survived by six siblings, Mary (Roger) Marquardt, Kathy Smith, Regina Hottis, Greg (Sonja) Briley, Florence White, and Allen Briley; sister-in-laws, Judy Briley and Jan Briley; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Emma; and brothers, Roger, Carl, and Chris.

Per his request no funeral services will be held.
