CHARLES HOMER ALLEN

Charles was born March 20, 1948 in Waylon, Ky., to the late Orin and Rainy Allen. He moved to Michigan at the age of 5. On Feb. 18, 1967, he married Tania Martin. He worked for Eagle Picher Hillsdale Tool Division for 22 years and retired to Alpena. Charles, being an active hardworking man, came out of retirement and drove for Prell’s Towing Service for five years. His hobbies included fishing, camping, nature, and riding his Harley.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Tania; son, Robbie Allen of Ossineke; granddaughters, Sasha Allen of Alpena, Taylor Allen of Alpena; grandson, Drew Allen of Palm Coast, Fla.; and four great-grandchildren. His family will deeply miss him most for his great sense of humor and kind heart.

Per his wishes, he will be cremated, and family will hold a service at home. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
