DAVID HENRY ROBINETTE

David was born May 18, 1938, in Alpena to the late Edward and Loretta (Dion) Robinette. On Jan. 16, 1960, he married Della Ann Pillsbury. She preceded him in death on June 19, 2015. David played football at Alpena Catholic Central and received an athletic scholarship to play for the University of Wyoming, returning to Alpena to start a long career at the Presque Isle Corporation until his retirement. David was a member of the P.K. Fletcher Gun Club, Alpena Sportsmen’s Club, and Pistol League.

Surviving are his three daughters, Kelly Robinette, Kimberly (Nat) Salziger, Kendra (Dan) Benavides; three grandchildren, Nicholas Hartman, Kristen Hartman, Kiegan McNamara; sister, Rosalie Robinette; two brothers, Kenneth (Janet) Robinette, and Michael (Anna) Robinette.

A private graveside service will take place. Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.

Inurnment: Holy Cross Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Della Robinette Memorial Nursing Scholarship at Alpena Community College.
