MARTIN JOHN ANDERSON

Martin was born Aug. 11, 1929, in Alpena to the late William and Florence (Pinkel) Anderson. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. On Jan. 30, 1953, he married Delores Kitter. She preceded him in death on July 5, 1992. Martin worked at Besser Company, retiring in 1991. He was a backyard mechanic, able to fix anything needing to be fixed. He also enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his two children, Peg (Pat) Seguin, John Anderson; four grandchildren, Derek (Jenny) Seguin, Kelli Seguin, Aaron Anderson, Dustin Anderson; long-time companion, Marian Kamyszek and her family; brother, Roger, (MaryAnne) Anderson; and sister-in-law, Celia Anderson.

Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his siblings, William Anderson, Roy Anderson, Jeanette Newman, and Virginia Anderson.

Visitation will take place at Bannan Funeral Home on Friday from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jack Williams officiating. Military honors will be accorded him immediately following the service by Alpena V.F.W. Post 2496.
