DOROTHY KRUEGER

Dorothy Krueger, age 91, of Hubbard Lake, Mich., passed away Oct. 5, 2017, in Clearwater, Fla. Dorothy was born in Hubbard Lake, Jan. 13, 1926, to Julius and Fern Schultz. She lived in Hubbard Lake area most of her life, enjoying her family, beautiful flowers and gardening. Dorothy married Herby Krueger on May 4, 1946, who preceded her in death Oct. 24, 2010. She is survived by a son Ron (Brenda) Krueger, of Hubbard Lake; daughters Denise (John) Thomann, of Clearwater, Fla., and Diane (Russ) Ballard of Hubbard Lake; sisters Shirley (Keith) Peterson of Alpena, Darlene (Glen) Stevens of Hubbard Lake; brother Rick (Lori) Schultz of Hubbard Lake. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Bud (Lorraine) Schultz, Bobby (Virginia) Schultz and Larry Schultz. At Dorothy’s request, her body will be donated to Medcure. A private memorial will be held at a later date with final interment at Hubbard Lake Cemetery.
