MARCIA MYERS SARETSKY

Marcia Myers was born July 16, 1934, in Appleton, Wis. Marcia moved with her family to Alpena, Mich., in 1952 where she graduated from Alpena High School. Marcia married the love of her life Saul Saretsky on Aug. 22, 1953.

Although Marcia was one of the most beautiful and classically elegant woman, these attributes were surpassed by her kindness, devotion to family and friends, as well as her great sense of humor. Marcia’s legacy will be continued by her daughter, Annie; son, Mark; and grand dog Hershey Kisses.

Marcia is survived by her sister, Ruth Myers; sisters-in-law, Ann (Herman) Saretsky, Cele (Marty) Landay, Ethel (Robert) Lynn; nieces, Ellen (Steve) Gould, Susan (Bill) Morris, Margret (Robert) Petty, Jan (Jerry) Bayer, Kathryn (Laszlo) Kubinyi, Laura (Mike) Fox, Karen Adelman, Joann (Jeff) Ishbia, Laurie (Michael) Banks; nephews, Jeff (Carla) Myers, Todd Levin, Bruce and Steve Lynn, Neil, Robert and Gary Saretsky.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Mildred Myers; sister, Betty (Bernie) Nemschoff; nephew, Bruce Nemschoff; brother, Robert (Adrienne) Myers; father and mother-in-law, Morris and Rose Saretsky.

Marcia is at the Bannan Funeral Home where friends may visit on Friday, Feb. 5, from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Sanford Wright officiating.

Interment: Hebrew Cemetery, Alpena

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Sunrise Shore, Friends Together, Area 3 Special Olympics or the Huron Humane Society.
