MILDRED ESTHER LISKE

Mildred Esther Schultz was born in Herron on May 30, 1937, to the late Herman and Bertha (Dege) Schultz. On March 30, 1968, she married Herbert Liske in Hazel Park. In 1973, they moved to the Hubbard Lake area. He preceded her in death on March 11, 1995.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hubbard Lake, its Altar Guild and Ladies Aide. Mildred enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She will be remembered for being a caring and loving person always willing to help others.

She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Brilinski of Hubbard Lake, and Sandy Awiszus of Hubbard Lake; two sons, Darren (Selina) of Herron, Dale (Laurie) of Clinton Twp.; 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; two brothers, Harry (Pat) Schultz of Hazel Park, Ted (Pat) Schultz of Hazel Park; one sister, Barbara (Gilbert) Bartz of Auburn; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Liske was preceded in death by a daughter Carol Morris.

Visitation for Mrs. Liske will be held on Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hubbard Lake from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon with Rev. Joseph Llewellyn officiating.
