MICHAEL ERIN HENIGAN
Mr. Michael Erin Henigan, 45 of Hillman, Mich., passed away at Hilltop Manor Healthcare Center of Roscommon on Sept. 29, 2014, after an extended illness. He was born to the late Gilbert and Barbara (Liddle) Henigan in Traverse City, Mich., on May 30, 1969. He moved from Buckley to Hillman in 1991 and married, Tamyra (VanPamel) Henigan on May 23, 1992. He worked for Cooper Standard Company and AMI Industries in material management for over 20 years. Mike was an avid sports enthusiast who loved watching his boys and their friends play football, baseball, and basketball. He helped coach Little League in Hillman for several years and also helped with the younger football and basketball programs. When he wasn’t involved in sports, he enjoyed hunting, camping with family, going on family trips, and time spent outside gardening. Above everything, he enjoyed his time spent with family and friends and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by wife, Tamyra Henigan of Hillman; sons, Kyle, Kory, and Sean; mother, Barbara Henigan of Buckley; and sister, Cherie (Jim) Suhy of Kingsley. He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Henigan.
Funeral services for Mr. Henigan will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, at the St. Augustine Catholic Church; Hillman, Mich.; Fr. Rolando Silva officiating. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the church and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
