The Cheboygan Lock and Dam, managed by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and located in the city of Cheboygan, reopened Friday after being closed for two days due to a fire at the nearby Tissue Depot.

The lock and dam is open daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Sept. 24. As the season winds down, hours vary. The facility closes Oct. 20 for the season.
