Parking lot closed in Alpena beginning today

The parking lot next to the Water Street Commons located at the corner of Water Street and 2nd Avenue in Alpena, will be closed on Monday. The parking lot will be undergoing repairs. It is anticipated the parking lot will be open on Wednesday, unless weather or construction delays occur.

Alpena council meets Monday

The Alpena Municipal Council will host its regular meeting on Monday at 6 p.m. at city hall. During the meeting the council will receive its first reading of Ordinance No. 25-512 which amends the City of Alpena zoning map. This meeting is open to the public and public comment is welcome.
