Tigers baseball at the APlex

ALPENA -- The APlex in Alpena is hosting Get-a-Way Day on Sept. 9 and on Sept. 23.

The events features a pair of Detroit Tigers afternoon games on large screen TVs, as well as food and drinks, including beer and food for purchase.

The Tigers play the Minnesota Twins during the Sept. 9 party and the Washington Nationals on Sept 23.

First pitch is slated for 1:10 p.m. each day, but doors to the events open at 11 a.m.
