ALPENA – Straley Lamp & Kraenzlein, P.C. is pleased to announce that Chelsea McConnell, CPA, recently became a shareholder of the firm.
Chelsea earned a Master of Accountancy degree, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Fraud Investigation, from Davenport University. Prior to joining Straley Lamp & Kraenzlein in 2015, she gained valuable experience working for large manufacturing and construction companies in accounting, human resources, and as an assistant controller.
Since joining the firm, Chelsea has become a leader in the firm’s audit practice, specializing in audits of governmental, nonprofit, and for-profit entities. She earned her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 2019 and is committed to providing clients with high-quality audit and assurance services.
Chelsea is an active member of the Michigan Association of CPAs and the Government Finance Officers Association. She also serves as Treasurer for Wolverine State Credit Union and the United Way of Northeast Michigan.
