MyMichigan Urgent Care Alpena expands weekend hours

ALPENA – MyMichigan Urgent Care Alpena is expanding its Saturday hours and adding Sundays effective September 27. The new hours will be Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
"We're always looking for ways to increase access and convenience for our patients," said Lesley St. Germain, Senior Manager, MyMichigan Medical Group. Since many people are more active on weekends, that can lead to unexpected illness or injury when your regular doctor is not available. We're happy to be able to accommodate more patients and possibly save them a trip to the emergency room while still getting them back to what they enjoy."
Urgent Care offers walk-in care for people of all ages with no appointment required for conditions such as strains and sprains, colds, sore throats, minor burns, skin rashes, insect bites, minor fractures and more. Urgent Care also provides occupational health services and camp or sports physicals.
