September 15th
12:41 AM A welfare check was requested on a female in the Village of Hillman. Deputies responded to the residence and found the female to be okay.
4:51 AM SimpliSafe reported a residential alarm in Albert Township. A deputy responded and found the home to be secure.
9:21 AM Deputies and Tri Township EMS responded to a vehicle in the ditch in Loud Township. The female driver was okay with no damage to the vehicle.
12:00 PM Fraudulent use of a stolen debit card was reported in Briley Township. An investigation is still ongoing.
12:19 PM A resident in Briley Township reported a neighbor was cutting the trees in his yard. A deputy responded and found the subjects had been from PIE&G trimming the trees surrounding the powerlines.
4:29 PM A vehicle/deer accident was reported in Briley Township; a report was taken.
6:51 PM A resident in the Village of Hillman reported a vehicle that had sped through the parking lot with subjects that were now yelling it him. Deputies responded and separated all parties.
6:51 PM A resident in Montmorency Township was concerned about a hot spot in a prescribed burn area. Hillman Fire and Canada Creek Fire responded and put out a tree that had flames.
8:33 PM A vehicle/deer accident was reported in Rust Township; a report was taken.
September 16th
4:20 AM A vehicle/deer accident is reported in Vienna Township. A report was made.
11:18 AM An individual calls to report a canoe left at their residence by a prior property owner. A deputy spoke to the reporting party over the phone and explained how to transfer the canoe into their name.
11:32 AM An individual enters the lobby, saying he paid for a contractor to work on their house, and the contractor was arrested in an adjoining jurisdiction. The individual wants their money back. A deputy spoke with them.
2:10 PM An individual enters the lobby to complain about their neighbor's animals constantly entering her yard and leaving feces behind. A deputy spoke with them and advised them to call us when the animals return.
8:36 PM A disorderly, possibly drunk, individual is reported at a business in Briley Township arguing with others. Deputies responded, and the parties left for the night.
8:43 PM A deputy is flagged down by a driver who hit a deer in Avery Township. A report was made.
September 17th
6:03 PM A caller drives an ORV into a tree in Hillman Township. A deputy and EMS responded, and a report was made. The driver weas taken to the hospital by a family member.
6:07 PM A large dog is found in someone's yard in Albert Township. A deputy responded and took the dog to ECAS
7:11 PM A stolen purse is reported in Hillman Township. A deputy spoke with the reporting party over the phone.
7:40 PM A caller reports that a home they are trying to sell was broken into in Briley Township. A deputy spoke with the reporting party and a witness over the phone.
8:19 PM A car breaks down on a roadway in Montmorency Township. A deputy provided a ride to the driver to MCSO, where the driver called a friend for a ride.
10:00 PM A possibly suicidal individual is reported in Rust Township. A deputy made contact over the phone, and the subject was not suicidal.
11:38 PM A 911 hang-up call comes in from Montmorency Township. After several failed contact attempts, a deputy responded, and everything was fine.
September 18th
1:01 AM A utility truck working on telephone poles is causing too much noise in Briley Township. A deputy responded but was unable to locate the truck.
6:49 AM A 2 vehicle accident was reported in Montmorency Township. A deputy responded, nobody was injured.
8:34 AM An erratic driver was reported in Vienna Township. A deputy was able to locate the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
6:43 PM An employee in Briley Township reported a female causing a disturbance. A deputy responded and was able to locate the female, she was trespassed from the business property.
8:02 PM A resident in Briley Township reported a suspicious vehicle that had parked near his property. A deputy was able to locate the occupants of the vehicle and spoke with them.
11:30 PM A resident in Briley Township reported his 2 dogs missing.
September 19th
5:28 AM A small dog was reported in the roadway in Briley Township. A deputy responded but was unable to locate it; it was later found that a resident had brought it home. The owner later picked up the dog.
1:18 PM Presque Isle County Dispatch notified MCSO of a vehicle that was entering the jurisdiction that had too tall of a load and was tearing down powerlines. Deputies were able to locate the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
2:36 PM A lost trailer plate was found in Briley Township.
9:31 PM A manager in Albert Township requested somebody to check on a small bonfire on the property. A deputy responded and found the fire had already been put out.
